Yepii - We have bought a wonderful ski-cottage in the Czech "Giant mountains".  

The cottage is located at the highway between Spindleruv Mlyn and the old  medieval mining town Vrchlabi. The house is in the "Giant mointains" / Krkonose which is  Czech national park and  area of protection of the national environment. Spindleruv Mlyn is the largest and one of the best locations for winter sports in Czech republic.

The river "Elbe" runs just below and beneath the cottage. It springs just 5 km. up North. In fact, we have our own bridge over the Elbe ("Labe" in Czech language), but it is a bit smaller than the bridge at Hamburg!  The house is situated on a 8000 sqm. large meadow at the hillside above the river. 

There is a lot to to in the sommer as well in the wintertime. The area offers both alpine- and cross-country skiing in the winter, and treking and lots of outdoor life and activities all yearround.
